Welcome
to Our School

Here at Gnosall St Lawrence CE Primary Academy and Pre-school, we are proud to be a Church of England School, strongly linked with St Lawrence Church here in our village. We were graded outstanding in our most recent SIAMs inspection which noted that our “pupils’ enthusiasm and positive attitudes to learning shines through in all that they do.”

Outdoor Learning

All children take part in outdoor Forest School sessions throughout the year - come rain or shine!

Inquisitive Learners

We place great importance on a curriculum which develops the whole child.

A warm welcome to Gnosall St Lawrence CE Primary Academy and Pre-School, part of St Bartholomew’s CE Multi Academy Trust. I hope that you find our website useful and informative and that it shows you some of the wonderful things that take place here each and every day.

We are a vibrant Primary Academy set in the heart of our rural, village community, with strong links to our local Church. Whilst our Christian Values and vision thread through everything that we do and say here, we welcome children and families of all faiths in a nurturing and tolerant environment where we all learn to respect and value one another. We place a great emphasis on being a family in which everyone works together to create a welcoming school where everyone can “shine as lights in the world” (Philippians 2:15). Learning is challenging, fun, fair and successful across a broad and balanced curriculum that develops pupils’ academic, social, physical, moral and spiritual understanding.

We aim to help our children develop resilience, teamwork skills and leadership qualities through our weekly PE and Forest School sessions. Here at St Lawrence, there is no such thing as too much rain!

We would be delighted if you would like to come and meet us, have a look around, see the children at work and discover how your child could thrive here. Please feel free to contact the school office – we would be pleased to see you any time.
