Year 2

The children on the RWI programme have been working really hard.  They have been securing their sounds and trying to remember to use FRED fingers in their writing too.  It’s great to see the children helping one another to read.

Also in PE the children have been learning about jumping in different ways.  The children have learnt how to do a long jump as well as being able to jump from a height and land safely.

In year 2 we have been learning about 3D shape properties. We used marshmallows and cocktail sticks to make the shapes so that we could easily count the edges and vertices. It was so tempting to eat the marshmallows!!
