Greek Pottery

This term Year 6 have been studying Ancient Greece. Over the past two weeks we have researched, designed and made our own Greek pottery. First we found out how pottery would have been made in Ancient Greece and what its different uses were. We then collected some ideas for shapes and patterns to use in our own design. Finally we made our own clay “coil” or “pinch” pots and decorated them with Greek patterns.
