Uniform

Working together, with Jesus beside us, to achieve our full potential.

Our required school uniform is an important way for us to show we belong to the Gnosall St Lawrence family, and we hope our children will enjoy wearing it with pride.

All branded uniform items are available from Marys’ Tots and Teens, 9 Stafford Street, Newport, TF10 7LU, 01952 400476.

We really appreciate Parents’/Carers’ efforts in keeping up appearances – Thank you!

In the summer (from Easter to Autumn half term) sweatshirts/cardigans may be worn with white polo shirts or ordinary white shirts and ties.

Children will need some warm, waterproof clothing for outdoor education. We go out whatever the weather (Mrs Malone’s favourite saying is ‘skin’s waterproof’). All-in-one waterproofs are ideal, especially as layers can be built up under them to provide winter warmth. Perhaps the most important part of outdoor uniform is WELLIES!

You may want to send in an old shirt or something similar for some practical lessons such as Art.

Stud earrings, plain watches and flat headbands permitted only.

All long hair to be tied back please (this helps to reduce the transmission of head lice!)

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure everything is named – and check names every so often because they do fade in the wash, no matter what the magic pens promise!
